Bob Barcelona, Ph.D. is the program administrator for CoachSmartNH, and is an Associate Professor in the Department of Recreation Management and Policy at the University of New Hampshire. Bob.s experience includes working with sport and physical activity programs in community and collegiate settings, and he has served as an administrator, coach, and official in a variety of sport and recreation contexts. Karen Collins, Ph.D. is the Curriculum Director for CoachSmartNH, and is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Kinesiology at the University of New Hampshire.  Karen’s interests focus on social issues in coaching and coaching education. She was a former collegiate coach at Princeton University, UNH and Dartmouth College. Additionally, Karen has worked as a developmental program administrator for the United States Field Hockey Association (USFHA).  She can be reached by e-mail or by phone at (603) 862-0361.

Heather Barber, Ph.D. is the CSNH sport psychologist and curriculum co-director, and is an Associate Professor in the Department of Kinesiology at the University of New Hampshire. Heather specializes in sport psychology and her research centers on motivation and girls’ and women’s participation in sport. An AAASP certified consultant, member of the USOC Registry of Sport Psychologists, team psychologists for various UNH sports teams and a former coach at Wellesley College, Heather brings a wealth of experience in sport psychology to the CoachSmartNH program. Gary Bannon is a program associate and NHRPA liaison for CSNH, Recreation Director for the City of Dover, and Chair of the NHRPA Youth Sports Coaches Training Committee.  Gary is a leader locally, statewide, and nationally in community youth sports.  He can be reached by e-mail or by phone at (603) 516-6410.

Matt Ott is working with CoachSmartNH as a Graduate Assistant in the Department of  Recreation Management & Policy at UNH.  He is primarily responsible for the day-to-day coordination of CoachSmartNH.  Matt has considerable experience in sport and recreation management, working with sport programs at both the grassroots-recreational and elite-competitive levels.  Matt is also an experienced hockey coach.  He can be reached by e-mail.
